On the 3rd of November the nation stops to watch this very race however most workplaces and cities around the country will be holding events and competitions for the best dressed and these will be the talk of the day (of course we know the day is about the horse race ). However on this day it is time to make your mark and show off the fashionista that you really are. This is the time to dare to be daring. Colour is your best friend; Spring Racing is all about colour detail and exotic prints. This year keep an eye out for 70s inspired dresses and Japanese prints.
Finally on Oakes day, 5th of November another bright a colour day for the ladies. Chic, simple and stylish are always a girl’s best friend. Emirates Stakes day concludes the 4-day Spring Racing cup carnival and is held on the 7th of November, a Saturday. This day is usually considered a family day and you are able to show off more relaxed attire. This brings in the ability to wear your pretty maxi dresses, A-liners and pastel coloured skirts.
