The New Footloose Movie Trailer

Writer/Director Craig Brewer (Hustle & Flow, Black Snake Moan) will deliver a new take on the much loved 1984 classic film, Footloose.

Ren MacCormack (the role made famous by Kevin Bacon in the 1984 movie) will be played by newcomer Kenny Wormald. The movie also stars Dennis Quaid as Reverend Shaw Moore and Julianne Hough who plays the minister’s troubled daughter, Ariel.

Footloose will be released in Australian cinemas on October 6 2011.
