As many of you know, thinking of the perfect birthday gift for the male species is often not the easiest feat! You will spend days or weeks, or months for some, trying to think of something that he will genuinely love and appreciate getting.

To help get the ideas churning, below are some possible solutions to finding the perfect birthday gift for the special man in your life.

Adventure Seeker

What better way to spoil your loved one than with something to get the heart racing! You’ll find www.jswpowersports.com.au is a great stop for all things jet ski, and will give you a huge range of ideas for the adventurer at heart. For a lot of men, getting out and doing something is always appreciated, so also have a look at things like rock climbing, skiing, 4-wheel-driving, or just a weekend away.

Bucket List

Everyone has a list of things they want to do or see, and helping to cross a few of these off will not only be something you and your man can share together, but will go that extra mile to show how well you know him and the things he wants to do in his life. Make sure to pick something he isn’t likely to do anytime soon such as visiting a location he’s always wanted to see, or some kind of activity, like bungy jumping, he’s always wanted to do.

Make it Personal

What man doesn’t have his own man-cave or man-space, or at least wants one? Whether he has a room set up or not, think about getting a personalised sign or bar mat designed and made-up with something like ‘Matt’s Bar’ written on it. It’s personal, completely unique, and isn’t something he’s likely to go out and have done himself. For those men without a man-cave you can take the same personal approach with mugs, glasses, flasks, lighters, or anything else that suits his lifestyle and tastes.

A Bit of Bling

Jewellery isn’t usually the first thing that comes to mind when buying a birthday gift for a guy, but you might be surprised at how many men actually appreciate a nice piece of bling, especially if it comes from someone they love. A ring or a necklace with a small pendent on it are your best bets, but make sure the necklace hangs a decent length from the neck so it can be slipped easily over his head. Guys will get frustrated very quickly with small latches they can’t undo! You’ll find most jewellery stores have a fairly decent range of men’s pieces, so it doesn’t hurt to check some of them out.

Men are never the easiest people to buy for, and unless they have something specific in mind that they’d like, they’re often not the most helpful in trying to flourish your idea train either. Try and think outside the square when it comes to men, and if all else fails, you can’t really go wrong with pizza and a night in together!
