As part of the inaugural celebrations, Sir Richard hosted a star-studded launch party last night at Chateau Marmont in LA. This follows the Sydney launch celebrations on Thursday night, where celebrities including singer Natalie Imbruglia were among the 800 guests at the harbourside party.
The flight also coincides with an 8-day journey around the world as part of Virgin Atlantic’s 25th birthday celebrations this year, which will see Sir Richard travel from London, Hong Kong, Sydney and LA, before returning to London. Over the course of the trip Sir Richard will be on the search for his best ‘look-a-like’, as part of a global competition to celebrate Virgin Atlantic’s anniversary.
Those who bear an uncanny resemblance can visit Virgin Atlantic’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/virginatlantic and upload their picture for a chance to win two return flights and two VIP tickets to Virgin Atlantic’s exclusive 25th birthday party in New York.
