- Hooks
You need all the storage space you can get if you want to have a truly efficient and practical bathroom. And one of the simplest ways to have more storage space is to install hooks. With the addition of more hooks, you can have additional ‘surface area’ in your bathroom without having to add real space such as a worktop. You can use your bathroom hooks for towels, bathrobes, and clothes, and you’re not sacrificing any horizontal space. What’s more, they’re a cheap but effective addition as well, and they can be installed in different areas, such as behind the door and on the walls.
- Mirrors
Most bathrooms already have a primary or main mirror, which is usually placed above the sink or basin. But think about more mirrors or at least larger ones. A mirror indeed plays a practical purpose since it is where you can look at yourself whilst shaving, grooming, and the like – but it can also serve a style and design purpose, especially if you want your bathroom to have a bigger impact. Mirrors can be an invaluable design element, particularly if they come with an attractive frame or are uniquely-shaped. Mirrors can also visually expand your bathroom, making it look bigger, and it can also add more light.
- New shower wall boards
If your bathroom tiles are already old and dull or broken, it may be a good time to replace them with new ones. But you don’t have to go through all the trouble of installing new ceramic tiles – one option would be to install wall panels which can be used for both the shower area and other bathroom areas that are made from materials such as PVC. These shower boards, as they are also known, are not only easier to install and less expensive compared to ceramic tile or stone – they are also hygienic, non-porous, easy to clean and come in different colours, patterns, and styles.
