The Top Venues in Australia for Women on a Night Out Going on a night out with the girls is vital to a happy lifestyle, so looking at the best reviews and ratings is vital to find the perfect venues to complete your night out. If you’re out and about in Australia with the girls and you’re looking for the top women centric venues in Australia, we’ve put together a list just for you.

The Lyceum Club, Melbourne

The Lyceum Club is one of the best women’s only clubs in Australia, and the one in Melbourne, Victoria is the best one out there. It’s an ultra-exclusive women’s only club which sits opposite the exclusive men’s only Melbourne club (founded in 1912). There are also sister Lyceum clubs in Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane. Although men are welcome as guests of members, the venue is very much solely for women, but membership is restricted to women graduates and other women who have distinguished themselves in art, music, literature, philanthropy or public service. However, this is easily one of the best venues in Australia to visit, whether you’re in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth or Brisbane.

Zeta Bar, Sydney

Although this is not a women’s only venue, the cocktails are more often than not a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city for a night out with the girls, particularly on a Wednesday for the ladies night. If you arrive between 5.30 and 7.30 on a Wednesday for ladies night, you’ll even receive complimentary Bellini’s and oysters on arrival.. The bartenders at this bar are special and will create you something extremely unique as they have perfected their craft to give you the ultimate experience.

Sin City Nightclub, Gold Coast

On a Tuesday night, Sin City nightclub on the Gold Coast plays host to the perfect girls’ night out – Badboys Australia. The boys take to the stage to entertain the ladies, taking you through a journey through the ages to celebrate some of the world’s greatest artists, actors and performers with dance routines, acrobatics and costumes. For a two hour non-stop Vegas style, fully interactive experience, the boys are coming to town, making Sin City the best night out on a Tuesday.

The Red Hummingbird, Melbourne

The Red Hummingbird is the founder of rooftop bars in Melbourne and with its swinging wicker chairs, plush cushions and lanterns, it’s one of the best places for a night out with the girls, particularly if you’re looking for a relaxing atmosphere that also balances energy. With an open fire place in the winter, this cocktail lounge is the perfect hive for a girl’s night out. Although it’s not a women’s only bar, it is still one of the best girls’ hangouts in the city.

Miss Peaches, Newtown (Sydney)

Aside from the American diner style, this bar and diner offers something very different. If you’re looking for an American style bar with all of the American classics such as Grape Drank and Atlanta Fanta cocktails or Hot Buttered Rumspiced with pumpkin, and of course the Sierra Nevada classic and the Acme IPA, the bar has something a little quirky to offer anyone who visits. With a soundtrack of soul and 60’s R’n’B this is also the perfect place to put on your dancing shoes with the girls and twirl around for fun while nibbling on some hush puppies and tater tots.
