The return to work after the Christmas/New Year holidays is traditionally the start of Australia’s peak online dating period. Starting on 6th January 2013, love is in the air in the lead up to Valentines Day on Thursday 14th February.
Although there are no geographical boundaries in our search for love, dating site RSVP has revealed the hot spots in each state and territory of Australia, where lonely hearts are actively seeking that special someone.
According to the RSVP Date of the Nation Report 2012* 8% of Australians met their current or most recent partner online and 51% of those found him or her through RSVP – and it all started with a ‘virtual’ kiss, RSVP’s free message service for members to let other members know they are interested in them and want to get to know them.
