A new edition of the 2009 bestselling book, 101 Ways to Get Free $$$ from the Government is now available in bookstores.
I haven’t actually read this book (my reading pile is already stacked up to the ceiling), so I can’t make a personal recommendation. But I’m told that whether you’re young or old, a tradie, labourer, professional, a mum just looking to get back into a part-time job, or a retiree needing to get back into the workforce, this handy little guide to government handouts is for ordinary Australians (no big cash incentives for big business here) and has something for just about everyone.
The latest edition includes new entitlements provided for in the 2010-11 Federal Budget released in May 2010, some of which you may not be aware of.
The first edition of this handy little guide was featured on Channel 9’s A Current Affair program in 2009 and flew off the shelves.
Author Grace Johnston works in and runs jobsearch and pre-retirement training workshops under the Busy Boomers brand. Her published works include three books in the What’s Good for You series, You’ve Got the Job and Aligning Your Work & Purpose.
Researcher Daniel Murray is a Melbourne-based researcher with a background in media and an interest in public policy. His career includes working for Media Monitors.
101 Ways to Get Free $$$ from the Government is published by Wilkinson Publishing and is available online from the publisher for $7.95. This book is also available in bookstores.
