GHC_cover3aedeaBased on the blog of the same name, Grow Harvest Cook is for anyone looking to grow, harvest, and cook their own produce. Written by Meredith Kirton and Mandy Sinclair, with photography by Sue Stubbs and design by Susan Cadzow, Grow Harvest Cook has 280 recipes plus tips for cultivating, harvesting, and preserving over 90 different types of produce.

Meredith Kirton is one of Australia’s leading experts in gardening and horticulture. Throughout her career she has been gardening editor and regular contributor to many of Australia’s best lifestyle magazines and has also appeared on radio and many popular TV shows as both a guest and presenter.

Her co-author, Mandy Sinclair is a food writer with over 20 years experience in the food industry, writing for both cookbooks and magazines. While food is her passion, the commitment to promoting fresh, seasonal produce is something that is close to Mandy’s heart and is evident in her recipe writing.

Photographer Sue Stubbs has been working for over 15 years capturing images of interiors, food, people and gardens. Her talent has been recognized internationally, receiving awards in the International Garden Photographer (UK) Competition.

Illustrator Sue Cadzow has been working as a graphic designer for over 20 years. Her repertoire includes book and magazine design, illustration, logo and corporate design, brochures and stationery, and web design.

Inject some vigor into your meals and nurture your inner green thumb with practical gardening tips, and tricks for harvesting. Featuring recipes using fresh seasonal produce, Grow Harvest Cook includes environmentally friendly recipes, and is illustrated with beautiful photographs in vibrant colours throughout.

Grow Harvest Cook is published in Australia by Hardie Grant Books and will be available in bookstores and online from September 2013, RRP $45.
