santa with big list, reindeer and elvesAccording to our sources in the North Pole, Santa’s elves have been busy putting the finishing touches to a wonderful selection of toys for girls and boys, for delivery to homes in Australia.

With only 7 weeks until Christmas, Santa Claus is far too busy for media interviews. But a spokesperson for Santa’s Workshop told Australian Women Online, “Letters posted early to Santa indicate that dolls, ponies and imaginative play will top Christmas Wish Lists for girls this year. While requests for planes, games and automobiles have been flooding in from boys all over Australia.”

With so many toys and kids electric cars to deliver on Christmas Eve, Santa has asked his helpers, located in all toy retailers in Australia, for assistance. Shop kids toys at BIG W

“The response from major retailers like Big W, has been incredible,” said Mr Elf. “We’ve been advised that the Big W Christmas Toy Event is ON NOW at www.bigw.com.au and will be in stores from 31st October – so Christmas toy shopping can begin early this year.”

On hearing the news that the Big W Christmas Toy Event is also offering huge discounts across many brands including Barbie, Lego and Angry Birds, a great big cheer went up in Santa’s Village!

Since increases in the world’s population forced Santa to outsource delivery of toys to homes across the globe, the jolly fellow hasn’t been so jolly. We hear that Santa has been very concerned about the impact such a radical change in policy will have on family budgets.

“Santa is very aware that a drop in business confidence has forced many families in Australia to tighten their belts in Christmases past,” said Mr Elf. “So he was very pleased when our media elves advised him that a major retailer like Big W, has reduced their prices on the most popular toys for girls and boys this Christmas.”

Due to increased operating costs, including a considerable pay rise for the elves, Santa Claus can no longer offer free delivery. However, families and friends who order toys online at www.bigw.com.au have the option of free pick-up in store. Big W also offers online lay-by and easy returns.
