Yahoo! reduces the cost of an online store by 70%

Online ShoppingYahoo! Small Business are offering 70% off Merchant Solutions for the first 12 months, reducing the costs of running an online store down to just US$10.19 a month payable yearly (a saving of $407.40).

This offer is available to new Yahoo! Small Business customers only who sign-up for Merchant Starter and pay yearly. With this discount the monthly cost of Merchant Start is US$19.98 (a saving of $20 a month) for the first year. This offer expires on 31 March 2014.

Features included in Yahoo! Merchant Starter are:

  • Site design wizard to guide you through setup;
  • Easy-to-use tools to help create, customize and add products;
  • Secure online credit card and PayPal payment processing;
  • Tools to easily process orders, returns, exchanges, refunds, and voids;
  • Inventory-management features and status alerts;
  • Configurable checkout process;
  • Customer registration system;
  • Twitter Share and Facebook Like functionality; and
  • Reliable service with 24-hour in-house support.

There is no set-up fee, but you will have to pay a transaction fee of 1.5% for payment processing of your customer’s orders. See the website for full terms and conditions.
