an_awesome_rideOver three million people across the world were moved and inspired by Shaun Miller’s farewell message on YouTube. Shaun had undergone two heart transplants and spent most of his life in hospital, only to be diagnosed with chronic heart rejection shortly after his seventeenth birthday. In the face of this heartache, Shaun had one message for the world, and that was to “stay positive.”

Released after his death, Shaun Miller’s autobiography “An Awesome Ride” is the teenager’s untold story, including being the pawn in the middle of a war between his parents; the victim of assault and landing the girl of his dreams. Serious health issues never held Shaun back from pursuing a career in television and film. But he captivated all who met him – famous boxers, actors, elite sportsmen and contestants on The Voice. Shaun was a remarkable young man who touched the lives of millions and left footprints on their hearts.

The official book launch took place on Sunday 2nd December 2012 at Kingston City Hall, Melbourne, Australia and included special guest speakers Jordy Lucas from Neighbours, as well as Racheal Leahcar, Paula Parore and Fatai Veamatahau from The Voice. The evening also featured a Tribute Concert with over 25 of Shaun’s favourite tracks.
