5 Things Dogs Do That Should Totally Be Creepy but Are Actually Cute

From spending hours on the net to find deals for discount pet items to cleaning their poop, you do a lot for your dog. For most parts, your pet appreciates the things you do for it. However, sometimes pets do some really strange things that the human brain simply cannot make sense of. Why do dogs do these things? Well, we are not sure. One thing is for certain, they are somehow creepy and cute at the same time.

Creep up on You like the Ghost from Paranormal Activity: How many times has it happened that you suddenly felt a cold wet nose on your body when you least expected it? Most pet parents would say that it happens all the time. As it turns out, your dog loves to follow you around like a stealthy ninja. They somehow always manage to stay out of your visual periphery while closing in on you. Then it happens. Much like a good movie jump scare, you suddenly find your dog innocently staring at you from an uncomfortably close distance. Well played, Max, well played.

Spy on You When You Go Number 2: If you have a dog at home then you might struggle to remember the last time you went number 2 alone. Dogs, for some reason, are curious about why humans go to the toilet. Worst of all, they don’t hide their curiosity well. They would either confidently walk inside the toilet with you or try to push the door open with their snouts. Don’t worry though, you would soon learn to live with it. You may even start finding your dog’s company endearing when you take care of business.

They Roll in the Grass like There Is No Tomorrow: All four paws in the air and a side-to-side rolling motion that looks like some sort of a weird seizure. No matter what breed, dogs seem to love rolling in grass. It might seem concerning to new pet parents, but veteran owners know that this is one of those cute doggie antics that dogs love to do. They always seem to stop when they realize that humans are watching. Why? We wonder.

Sniffing Bottoms Without Offering Any Warning: It’s not a new information that dogs love to sniff butts. Dogs do that to each other all the time. That’s why peak hours in dog parks turn into a butt-sniffing bonanza. While dogs don’t mind their butts being sniffed, humans might. Your guests might find this weird welcome awkward and creepy.

They Always Seem to Know When You Are Eating Something Tasty: Thanks to their acute sense of hearing and smell, they always seem to know when you are eating something drool-worthy. They detect the hushed murmur of a chips packet getting unpacked and they suddenly ditch their mid-afternoon nap to be by your side. Then comes a barrage of cute facial expressions that force you to share your food.
