Paradise Resort on the Gold Coast has announced it will open the BIGGEST Resort Aqua Play Water Park in the Southern Hemisphere in September.

The water park will feature a giant central pool, large heated spa and 2 enormous Aqua Play attractions. The larger structure will be 3 stories high on multi levels complete with a myriad of slides, water cannons, and climbing nets designed to entertain and engage the whole family in aquatic fun. Topping it all off will be a giant bucket that fills with 600 litres of water before emptying every few minutes over guests below in one enormous splash.

The littlies have not been forgotten either, with their own smaller version of Aqua Play, with slides and a second giant tipping water bucket. There’s also a new paddling area especially for them with a gently sloping beach entry.

Paradise Resort Gold Coast was purchased in August 2010, by the Zagame Corporation. This new addition to Australia’s favourite family resort is just the first phase in a series of planned works that will see a complete refurbishment of the Restaurant and Bar areas, followed by the accommodation rooms.

“Opening on the 1st September, this will set a new benchmark for family resorts,” said resort General Manager, David Brook. “Our customers already see us as the Best Family Resort in Australia – just wait until they experience this!”

Paradise Resort is home to the million dollar Zone 4 Kids, with its 7 themed play spaces offering supervised care sessions daily for 0-12 year olds. Packages start from just $160 per night for a family of 4, and include a free Z4K session daily, so parents can relax knowing the children are having a ball.
