Sophie Turner, who plays ‘Sansa Stark’ on the popular TV series Game of Thrones, is currently featuring in the Autumn/Winter 2015 campaign of international fashion house Karen Millen. The campaign, which was created for the Autumn/Winter 2014/15 season in the northern hemisphere, also features British models Lara Mullen and Brogan Loftus.

In a video interview with Sophie Turner on the set of the Karen Millen Autumn/Winter photo shoot, the English actress said her favourite piece from the Karen Millen Collection “is this faux fur black coat (pictured). It’s incredible. It’s massive.” By her own admission, Sophie’s personal style “is a bit boring. I wear just jeans and a t-shirt – and that will do me nicely. It’s all about the comfort.”

Sophie says she “was discovered acting wise at school” when she auditioned for Game of Thrones for the role of ‘Sansa Stark’. “It really was the best moment of my life so far because I’ve wanted to be an actress since I was like, three.”

Sophie says the most interesting place she’s ever worked in is Iceland and the most inspiring person she’s worked with is Lena Headey who plays ‘Cersei Lannister’ on Game of Thrones. “She lives in Belfast for six months shooting Games of Thrones and she’s without her child and sometimes she goes through a tough time being without him, and she just powers through every day. It’s incredible.”

However, the best acting advice she’s ever received is from American actor Aaron Paul, who played Jesse Pinkman in the TV series Breaking Bad. “I was speaking to Aaron Paul, because Breaking Bad had just finished, and he just saying like ‘Embrace every moment you’re on the show because it’s going to go by and then you’re just going to miss it like hell.”

So what’s next for Sophie Turner? “I want to keep my options open. I want to do as much as possible in as little time as possible. So more modelling, more acting. No singing.”
