Gourmet BBQ Burger

Spice up the traditional Aussie summer BBQ with this fresh and easy recipe from Bakers Delight.

Gourmet BBQ burgers complimented by some summer greens and fresh baked French Rolls, this simple recipe will not only impress the masses, but allow you to spend valuable time with friends and family while perhaps enjoying a glass of wine between conversation.

GOURMET BBQ BURGER
Serves 4

Ingredients
500g mince beef
2 tbs tomato sauce
1 tbs worchestershire sauce
3 tbs fresh breadcrumbs
1 onion, finely diced
1 egg, beaten
Salt and pepper
1 tbs oil for frying
4 French Rolls
2 ripe tomatoes, sliced
Fresh rocket leaves
1 avocado sliced
2 tbs chutney

Method:

1. Make the hamburger patties by combining the mince beef with the sauces, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, salt and pepper to taste.

2. Shape into balls and flatten slightly.

3. Grill or panfry until cooked through.

4. Serve in between crusty Bakers Delight French Rolls with fresh tomato, avocado, rocket and chutney.
