We gave five of our readers the new Schick Hydro Silk™ women’s razor to try and asked them to deliver their verdict. Poppy from Port Melbourne, Victoria called it “simply brilliant”.

“It is simply brilliant. I have never had a shaver that was so smooth to use and in fact the shave was so close to my skin, I was so amazed. Well done Schick for an OMG shaver,” she said.

The Schick Hydro Silk™ was designed specifically for the curves of a woman’s body. The 5 Curve Sensing™ Blades follow the natural shape of a woman’s body to deliver a close shave without causing irritation to sensitive skin.

Two of our testers have sensitive skin and really appreciated the unique skin guards on each blade that work to smooth skin and prevent irritation.

Michelle from Riverstone, NSW said: “I have very sensitive skin and this razor would slide smoothly along my skin. I love it! It was easy to use and I managed to shave all the little hairs on my legs and knees. It left my skin feeling soft and smooth and resulted in a very close shave.”

Liana from Belfield, NSW agreed: “I’d have to confess that this is one of the best razors I have tried. Most leave my skin irritated and unable to moisturised after. However this one is different. Highly recommended.”

Janine from Wellard, WA was impressed with the Water-Activated Moisturising Serum which is infused with hydrating marine extracts and shea butter to give back moisture to your skin for up to two hours after shaving.

“Tried the Schick Hydro and loved it, the Moisturizing Serum strip is really innovative and clever, the razor worked well on my legs that were in dire need of some attention. I found the shape of the handle comfortable as well [and] would certainly recommend and buy this product myself,” said Janine.

Nicole from Carlton, Victoria liked the design of the Schick Hydro Silk. “The razor is light and flexible. It’s very smooth and the larger head makes shaving feel easier.”

The Schick Hydro Silk™ is available now at supermarkets pharmacies and independent grocers nationally, including: Big W, Priceline, Coles, IGA, Kmart, Franklins and Bi-Lo.
