Channel 7 received a flood of complaints last night after tennis commentator Roger Rasheed remarked during a slow motion shot of Venus Williams’ behind, “Take a look at this now. Make or think what as you will, ladies, but for me that’s a pretty good sight.”

According to a report in Sydney’s Daily Telegraph this morning, Channel 7 says no action will be taken against Roger Rasheed (no surprises there).

Not that the Daily Telegraph has any right to complain after they published a full size photograph of Ms Williams’ rear end for the whole world to see. Although considering the level of sexism in Australia’s news rooms, we really shouldn’t be at all surprised.

These guys in the media really need some gender sensitivity training and soon!
