image013The world’s traditions may differ, but one thing remains the same – people are looking for the perfect way to make their special someone feel loved. And many people are celebrating their love on the move and discovering somewhere new this Valentine’s Day.

With some of the best romantic retreats in Australia and worldwide, couples can indulge this Valentine’s at one Airbnb’s getaways here or further from home.

For those still searching for love, it can be love at first trip on Airbnb.

Megan and Tocco met through a chance encounter on Airbnb whilst Megan spent her summer break from graduate school on a five week trip to Berlin. They are now married and have a newborn baby.

During Wimbledon, Frank Moser and Bree Chisholm met in London whilst Frank was playing tennis for Germany. They each took one private room in a Airbnb and it was love at first sight. They are now a couple, and they continue to stay with Airbnb when travelling around the world for his tennis tournaments.

Shannon and Josh met through Airbnb when Shannon stayed the night in Josh’s father’s guest room. Though she left the next day, when she made the move back to San Francisco a few months later, Jack was the first person she contacted. They have been inseparable ever since.
