Free Healthy Egg Nog RecipeFree Healthy Eggnog Recipe created by Sarah Flinn to celebrate Christmas (healthy style) with USANA Health Sciences Nutrimeal.

Every year when the eggnog season comes around, some of us practically prance around with excitement. If you’re not like me (meaning that you have self-control and you’re trying to eat healthy) the holidays can seem like torture. Not this year though! Why? You’ve got this spectacular, prance-worthy, healthy eggnog recipe!

Now I’ll be honest — when I first had the idea for a healthy eggnog, I didn’t think it would work out too well. We all know that eggnog is not so great for you. Eggs, heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and sometimes alcohol.

Not exactly a recipe for good health.

I decided to figure out a healthy eggnog recipe using almond milk as the main ingredient in exchange for the cream and sugar. Not only does it taste amazing, one cup of vanilla-flavored, unsweetened almond milk only sets you back 30 calories. To get a cup of anything for 30 calories is nothing short of a miracle.

And that’s just the start. Almond milk is also high in magnesium, potassium, and vitamin E. And if you haven’t tried it, it’s a great “milk” for those who are lactose intolerant.
