Nicky BuckleyAustralian TV personality and mother of 3 boys, Nicky Buckley, will be the face of a national campaign by mattress protector company, Protect·A·Bed® to find Australia’s Supermums, with the national winner being treated to a well-deserved holiday.

“At the end of the day, every mum is a Supermum. It’s the toughest and most rewarding job and gift a woman can ever be given,” said Protect·A·Bed® Supermum ambassador Nicky Buckley.

Nominations open this Sunday 29th September and will close on Friday 22nd November 2013. Any Australian can nominate a Supermum at the website protectabed.com.au

Nominators need to explain in 50 words or less why your mum/friend deserves to win the inaugural Protect·A·Bed® Supermum title. There’s $15,000 worth of prizes to be won including a $5000 family holiday to the Sheraton Mirage on the Gold Coast for Australia’s Supermum as well as another $5000 holiday for the nominee.

From all the nominations received the competition will be narrowed down to six state finalists who will be rewarded with a day spa pamper pack and Protect·A·Bed® products.

There will also be prizes including gift cards for those who purchase Protect·A·Bed® products from any participating retailer including Target, Big W, Harvey Norman, Harris Scarfe, Lincraft, Forty Winks, Sleepy’s, and My House.

Protect·A·Bed® is an Australian based company. Developed 33 years ago by David Kaplan, the products are now sold around the world, all of them being listed as a Class 1 Medical Device with the Food and Drug Administration as well as receiving the Good Housekeeping Seal.

Protect-A-Bed® Australia partners with the National Asthma Council Australia and Asthma Foundation NZ Sensitive Choice® program, the Eczema Association of Australasia and Sids and Kids.
