Commitment issues take place in many relationships and often even after a relationship is established, men will pull away or end the relationship due to the commitment issues he has. The scenario happens often: guy and girl establish the relationship, the guy gets scared and pulls away, the guy comes back, and the whole process repeats. These types of relationships can seem unpredictable. Read below to look for signs that he will be coming back to you, even if his words say differently.
The Telltale Signs He Will Come Back After Pulling Away
He is still connected with you on social media
If he is still connected with you on social media, there is a VERY strong chance that he will be coming back to you in some form. Social media is the number one way to keep tabs on someone from a distance. He may be watching what you’re doing, who you’re with, looking to see if you’re getting dressed up, and he’s looking to see if you’re going out. Keep in mind that if he is NOT connected, but you are still friends with his friends and family, he could also be using them to get info on you. More importantly, if he is still following your friends and family, then there is a chance he could be checking their social media accounts to see what he can find out about you.
You are connected with his close friends or family even after “the break up”
If this is the case, there is again a good chance that he may still come back to you. If he felt that he really needed to disconnect from you to move on, he would ask the most important people in his life to disconnect from you as well for his sake. If there are connections still there, there’s a chance he will be back.
He is reaching out
He is reaching out because he is thinking of you and wants to make a connection. This can be anything from sending you flowers, having one of his or your friends tell you something he wants you to know, following you, liking your posts on social media, drunk texting you, sober texting or calling you, etc. Any type of communication or indirect communication is a sure sign that you are on his mind and he is thinking of you and wanting to connect with you.
He is not dating anyone
This is also a sign that he may still be thinking of you and be trying to decide what to do. However, on the contrary, if he is dating someone or seemingly jumping from person to person it could also mean that he is trying to distract himself from thoughts of you. This can be a difficult one to gauge, but if you had a relationship with him for any length of time then you will know if this could be the case with him.
If he is the type to mask his difficulties, then he could be dating around. If this is the case then ask yourself if you really want him back as this certainly does speak volumes of his character. He may also have other emotional issues to deal with that are causing him not to commit. If, however, he is the type to face his problems, he probably isn’t filling the void with anyone else. This is a good sign that he is a man of good morals and strong character and may be worth putting the extra effort into getting him back.
Final Thoughts
If he is truly moving on from you, he will likely remove you and anything and anyone related to you from his life and social media world. If he is exhibiting any of the above behaviors, or a combination, there is a good chance that he will be coming back. Just remember to ask yourself this question: should you let him?
