Working with children in NT

Friday 22 July 2011

From 1 July 2011 people who have contact or potential contact with children in certain specified areas of employment in the Northern Territory are required to hold a Working with Children Clearance Notice (WWCC).

If you, your employees or volunteers applied for a WWCC Notice before 1 July and it hasn’t been processed, you will need to request an exemption so you are not in breach.

For more information on what areas of employment the WWCC Notice applies to, or to apply for an exemption, visit the Working with Children website.
