Founder of "Lose Baby Weight" Rhian Allen

Founder of “Lose Baby Weight” & “The Healthy Mummy” Rhian Allen

The career of Aussie mumpreneur Rhian Allen could be a blue-print for how to build a successful online business.

After falling pregnant with her first child and completing a nutrition course, former lawyer Rhian Allen, left her corporate job to start-up a website to help new mothers to lose their baby weight and feel great post-pregnancy. To date, the online Lose Baby Weight diet and exercise plans have helped Aussie mums to collectively lose more than 300,000kgs.

The Lose Baby Weight website and product range shows mums how they can make small changes to their lifestyle to become healthier and lose their baby weight without having to resort to unhealthy dieting.

Like many successful Mumpreneurs in Australia today, Rhian Allen has utilised the opportunities provided by blogging and the media to gain much needed exposure for her online business. Rhian has blogged on sites such as Bubhub, Kidspot and Stay at Home Mums and has been featured in New Idea, Take 5, Practical Parenting, The Telegraph, The Age, My Child, and Offspring. She has also appeared on the TV program Mornings With Kerrie Anne.

Another strategy used by the many of the most successful mummy bloggers and mumpreneurs, is the publication of a book. This morning, Rhian Allen announced the release of the Lose Baby Weight 28 Day Breastfeeding Friendly Diet & Exercise book.

Rhian Allen says she has worked with health experts to ensure the ensure the diet plans and recipes in the book are nutritionally sound and safe
for mothers who are breastfeeding.

“The book has been created especially for the busy mum who is ready to get in shape post baby and who wants to follow a daily diet and exercise plan
for weight loss,” said Rhian Allen. “We have included daily food and meal plans, shopping lists, daily recipes, nutrition information and daily exercises that over 28 days will aid your health, fitness and weight loss.”

After the success of the Lose Baby Weight website, Rhian decided to start-up a second website The Healthy Mummy which has a broader health focus and was specifically designed for mums who were looking for health, fitness and dietary advice during pregnancy and post pregnancy, as well as providing healthy lifestyle advice for the entire family that was easy to follow.

The Lose Baby Weight book is available online now at www.losebabyweight.com.au for a RRP of $39.95 and includes a bonus Winter Warmer 7 Day Plan + e-book version.
